Terms and Conditions
DRAFT FOR CLIENT AND LAWYER REVIEW — NOT FOR PUBLICATION OR PAYMENT ACCEPTANCE. Proposed effective date: September 11, 2026 (2026-09-11). Use the actual effective date if publication occurs later. Proposed operational and messaging provisions must match the implemented service before publication. This draft does not establish legal compliance.
1. Who these terms cover
These terms describe use of the Mardi Gras Made Ez website and purchase of the Balcony Hopper. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Mardi Gras Made Ez. “You” means the purchaser or participating guest. Other experiences are available by inquiry and are subject to the terms supplied for that experience; the Balcony Hopper price and refund policy do not automatically apply to them.
Questions: matt@mardigrasmadeez.com or (504) 606-6261.
2. The Balcony Hopper
You book one selected event day: Saturday, February 6, 2027 (Endymion) or Sunday, February 7, 2027 (Bacchus). Each day is limited to 55 guests.
The experience includes a semi-private Bourbon Street balcony, premium open bar, DJ, beads, and restrooms, followed by transportation between balconies and a semi-private balcony on the St Charles Avenue parade route for your day's parade, with a New Orleans-style food spread and premium open bar. Both balconies are semi-private. Meeting instructions are provided after purchase. Parade timing and rescheduling are controlled by the parade organizers and public authorities.
Hotel accommodation, gratuities, and transportation home or back to your hotel after the parade-route balcony experience are not included. You are responsible for arranging your onward transportation.
3. Price, deposit, and balance
The price is $750.00 per guest. A $375.00 deposit per guest is paid at booking. The remaining $375.00 per guest is due January 7, 2027 (2027-01-07). Review your selected day, guest details, and payment amounts before accepting the checkout terms.
[CLIENT DECISION REQUIRED — UNPAID BALANCE: State what happens to the reservation and payments already made if the balance is unpaid on January 7, 2027, including notice and any opportunity to pay. Asked September 11, 2026; unanswered. No forfeiture, seat release, cancellation, or late fee is established by this draft.]
4. Guest requirements and conduct
Every guest must be 21 or older on their selected event day. Provide accurate information for each guest, including date of birth for the age check. If you book for others, share these terms and the Privacy Policy with them; each guest must supply their own messaging consent and any required consent for sensitive information.
Smoking is not allowed on either balcony. Outside drinks are not allowed. Dress comfortably and casually, and treat other guests and staff respectfully. Tell us about food allergens, accessibility needs, and motion-sickness concerns so we can discuss arrangements with you. Do not assume an accommodation or an allergen-free environment has been confirmed merely because you entered a request.
After purchase, each guest must sign the liability release and one-page contract supplied by Mardi Gras Made Ez. Website acceptance is not a substitute for that separate signature. Lawyer review required: reconcile these terms with the actual release and contract, including participation requirements and any consequences of not signing; this draft does not create an additional waiver or forfeiture rule.
5. Cancellations, name changes, and refunds
The Refund Policy forms part of these booking terms. For Saturday, February 6, 2027, cancel on or before November 8, 2026 to receive $375.00 per guest, 50% of the full price. For Sunday, February 7, 2027, the equivalent deadline is November 9, 2026, inclusive. If only the deposit has been paid, this refunds the entire $375.00 deposit. After the applicable cutoff, the deposit is not refundable and only a guest name change is available; there is no cash refund.
If the krewe reschedules the parade because of weather, we provide the service on the new day. Guests must make themselves available. If they cannot attend the rescheduled day, there is no refund or credit. The full Refund Policy explains this rescheduling provision and the name-change process.
[CLIENT DECISION REQUIRED — ORGANIZER CANCELLATION: State what guests receive if Mardi Gras Made Ez cancels a day and how they will be notified. Asked September 11, 2026; unanswered. No refund, credit, or other remedy is invented here.]
Lawyer review required: refund boundaries, rescheduling, cancellation without replacement service, payment remedies, and any rights that cannot be waived. These terms do not override protections that applicable law makes mandatory.
6. Optional text-message program
When you separately opt in, Mardi Gras Made Ez may send automated text messages to the mobile number you provide. Booking and service messages cover inquiry responses, confirmations, payment reminders, and event updates. Promotional offers require a separate marketing opt-in. Message frequency varies with your inquiries, booking activity, event changes, and the marketing preferences you select. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to text messages is not a condition of purchase or of submitting an inquiry.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out; further program messages stop unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact matt@mardigrasmadeez.com or (504) 606-6261. The support telephone number is not a representation of the future text-message sending number. Contact us by email or telephone for an alternative to text updates.
You must be at least 18 to subscribe to the messaging program; Balcony Hopper attendance separately requires age 21 or older. You must be the authorized user of the number you enroll. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle mobile numbers and consent records.
7. Privacy and website use
Our Privacy Policy explains guest information, sensitive details, retention, and messaging choices. Use the website lawfully and provide information you are authorized to share. Do not misuse the forms or attempt unauthorized access to the service. Links to other websites take you to services governed by their own terms and policies.
8. Policy versions and assistance
We will identify updates by their effective date. The booking terms presented and accepted for your purchase remain the record of that agreement; posting a later version does not by itself rewrite an existing booking. Contact us using the details above if you need a copy or help understanding the booking process.
