Your Balcony Hopper payment and cancellation terms
$750.00 per guest for your selected day: $375.00 deposit when booking, with the remaining $375.00 due January 7, 2027.
Cancel your Saturday, February 6, 2027 booking on or before November 8, 2026 (2026-11-08), or your Sunday, February 7, 2027 booking on or before November 9, 2026 (2026-11-09), to receive a $375.00 refund per guest — 50% of the $750.00 price. If you have paid only the deposit, this refunds your entire $375.00 deposit. The cutoff date itself is included.
After your day's cutoff, your deposit is not refundable. There are no cash refunds; you may change the guest's name instead. The replacement guest must meet the same participation requirements, including being 21 or older.
If the krewe reschedules the parade because of weather, we provide the service on the new day. You must make yourself available; if you cannot attend, there is no refund or credit.
[CLIENT DECISION REQUIRED — ORGANIZER CANCELLATION: What refund, credit, or other arrangement applies if Mardi Gras Made Ez cancels your day? Unanswered as of September 11, 2026.]
[CLIENT DECISION REQUIRED — UNPAID BALANCE: What happens if your balance remains unpaid on January 7, 2027? Unanswered as of September 11, 2026.]
Suggested separate checkout acknowledgment, unchecked initially: “I have read and accept the payment, cancellation, name-change, and weather terms displayed above and the full Refund Policy and Terms and Conditions.” This acknowledgment is separate from any optional text-message consent.
Full policy
1. Your selected event day
This policy applies to the Balcony Hopper sold by Mardi Gras Made Ez. Each booking is for the day selected: Saturday, February 6, 2027 (Endymion), or Sunday, February 7, 2027 (Bacchus). The price is $750.00 per guest, paid as a $375.00 booking deposit and a $375.00 balance due January 7, 2027.
2. When a guest cancels
| Your event | Last date to cancel for the 50% refund | Name change only; no cash refund |
|---|---|---|
| Saturday, February 6, 2027 — Endymion | On or before November 8, 2026 (2026-11-08), inclusive | From November 9, 2026 |
| Sunday, February 7, 2027 — Bacchus | On or before November 9, 2026 (2026-11-09), inclusive | From November 10, 2026 |
These are the dates 90 days before each event. Cancellations 90 or more days before the selected event qualify for a refund of 50% of the full ticket price: $375.00 per guest. The refund is not 50% of the deposit. If you have paid only the $375.00 deposit, your entire deposit is refundable through your cutoff date; after that date, your deposit is not refundable. If you have already paid the full $750.00, a qualifying cancellation refunds $375.00. A refund cannot exceed what you have actually paid.
Inside 90 days, the only cancellation alternative is a guest name change. There is no separate 45-day refund tier and no $300 refund tier.
3. Requesting a cancellation or name change
Email matt@mardigrasmadeez.com with your booking reference, selected event day, and the names of the guests affected. For assistance, call (504) 606-6261. Do not send card details or health information with the request.
Proposed administration rule — lawyer and operations review: We use the time your email is received, in New Orleans local time (America/Chicago). A request received by 11:59 p.m. on the applicable cutoff date qualifies even if our reply comes later. We will acknowledge the request and confirm the refund or updated guest list in writing. This timing rule must be adopted and supported by the booking process before publication.
A name change transfers the existing reservation to a replacement guest on the same event day. The replacement guest must be at least 21 on that day, provide the required guest information, and sign the required liability release and contract. A name change does not itself provide a cash refund, credit, or change of event day. Contact us to arrange it; do not assume a forwarded confirmation updates the guest list.
4. Weather and parade rescheduling
If the carnival organization or krewe reschedules the parade because of weather, including to the day before or after the original parade date, Mardi Gras Made Ez will provide the service on the rescheduled day. It is the guest's responsibility to make themselves available to attend the rescheduled parade and related functions. If the guest cannot attend on the rescheduled day, Mardi Gras Made Ez will not provide a refund or credit.
This clause addresses rescheduling. It does not determine the outcome if no replacement service is provided. Lawyer review required: assess the weather clause, event cancellation without rescheduling, and any consumer rights that cannot be waived before publication; do not extend this clause into a blanket no-refund promise.
5. If Mardi Gras Made Ez cancels your day
[CLIENT DECISION REQUIRED — ORGANIZER CANCELLATION: State what guests receive if Mardi Gras Made Ez cancels a day, including whether payments are refunded, credited, or handled another way and when guests will be notified. Asked September 11, 2026; unanswered. No outcome has been assumed.]
6. If the January 7 balance is unpaid
[CLIENT DECISION REQUIRED — UNPAID BALANCE: State what happens to the reservation and payments already made if the remaining $375.00 per guest is unpaid on January 7, 2027, including any notice or opportunity to pay. Asked September 11, 2026; unanswered. No automatic cancellation, seat release, late fee, or deposit forfeiture has been assumed.]
